Let’s go on an adventure, have some fun and make some special memories

Whether we’re at home or outdoors, we’ll spend a relaxed 1 to 2 hours together, capturing what you love doing most together. Whether it’s snuggled up under a blanket, playing and exploring, reading a favourite story, tickle fights, or capturing those quiet little moments together as a family.

The outcome will be a range of joyful and tender portraits - individual and group portraits images - that celebrate all the unique personalities and connections between your family.

I like to keep my pricing simple and give you the best images from your session. Packages include:

Family sessions are suitable for all ages - toddlers, children, teens and beyond. I also love documenting family gatherings, partys and birthda cake smashes.

How do I book?

Family FAQs

  • A 1 to 2-hour session offers the perfect duration for several reasons. Firstly, it allows everyone to ease into the shoot and feel completely comfortable - as this is when the magic happens. We can capture all those authentic playful exchanges, inside jokes, spontaneous smiles and laughter that define your family's personality. Along with those quieter peaceful moments.

    Also there’s time for outfit changes and the option of exploring multiple locations - outdoors and home, or a blend of both.

  • When you book, we’ll have a little chat about your family what you love to do together and where your family might feel most comfortable being photographed.

    It could be in your home or exploring a favourite place you like to go as a family. Or perhaps exploring somewhere new - I know lots of great little spots to use all year round.

  • For outdoor sessions - if you ask any photographer they’ll tell you either around sunrise or sunset, as at these times it can result in magical soft-lit images during the 'blue and golden hours.' Those families who’ve woken early or kept their little ones up a bit later, have never regretted the experience of making that exception just once to go on a little adventure.

    But saying that I can be totally flexible to your family’s needs and napping schedules and if a different time of day works for you - let’s do that. I have locations which work well at different times of day whatever your timing preference.

    For home sessions - these can take place at anytime of day that works for your family and we’ll have a little chat about what times of day the light is best in your home.

  • Me too, I know exactly how that feels. I want to make sure you are comfortable on the day and ensure you get exactly the kind of images you’re hoping for. Firstly, I’ll always chat with you before your session to discuss your wishes, interests and get to know you.

    When we meet, I won’t get my camera out straight away, we’ll have a little chat and ease you all into the session by getting you to walk or play a little game.

  • I think all parents worry about this. I know I do whenever I have my family photographed!

    Firstly, the great thing about your photo shoot is that it takes place at your home or outside, in a place your little ones feel most comfortable.

    I’ve worked with children for a number of years and pride myself on being able to get the best out of each different personality.

    We’ll have a chat before your shoot about your children so I know how to get the best possible photos of them on the day. Although shoots tend to last 1 to 2 hours, I don’t have a set time limit. If your little one needs some time to chill, have a snack etc that’s fine. Whenever they are ready, I'll just start shooting again.

    Plus, I always have my ‘Mary Poppins bag’ with various toys, bubbles and treats to keep energy levels up or to act as a little incentive if need be.

  • I can get booked up several months in advance particularly for weekend dates. So I’d advise getting in touch sooner rather than later if you’d like to book so I can offer you your preferred date.
